सुख – सम्पदा और श्रेय की प्राप्ति - वैशाखी पूर्णिमा

   वैशाखी पूर्णिमा को ‘धर्मराज व्रत’ कहा गया है | यह पूर्णिमा दान-धर्मादि के अनेक कायर करने के लिए बड़ी ही पवित्र तिथि है | इस दिन गरीबों में अन्न, वस्त्र, टोपियाँ, जूते-चप्पल, छाते, छाछ या शरबत, सत्संग के सत्साहित्य आदि का वितरण करना चाहिए | अपने स्नेहियों, मित्रों को सत्साहित्य, सत्संग की वीसीडी, डीवीडी, मेमोरी कार्ड आदि भेंट में दे सकते हैं |

   इस दिन यदि तिलमिश्रित जल से स्नान कर घी, शर्करा और तिल से भरा हुआ पात्र भगवान विष्णु को निवेदन करें और उन्हींसे अग्नि में आहुति दें अथवा तिल और शहद का दान करें, टाइल के तेल के दीपक जलाये, जल और तिल से तर्पण करें अथवा गंगादि में स्नान करें तो सब पापों से निवृत हो जाते है | यदि उस दिन एक समय भोजन करके पुरम-व्रत करें तो सब प्रकार की सुख-सम्पदाएँ और श्रेय की प्राप्ति होती है |

वैशाख मास के अंतिम ३ दिन दिलायें महापुण्य पुंज

    ‘स्कंद पुराण’ के अनुसार वैशाख मास के शुक्ल पक्ष में अंतिम ३ दिन, त्रयोदशी से लेकर पूर्णिमा तक की तिथियाँ बड़ी ही पवित्र और शुभकारक हैं | इनका नाम ‘ पुष्करिणी ’ है, ये सब पापों का क्षय करनेवाली हैं |  जो सम्पूर्ण वैशाख मास में ब्राम्हमुहूर्त में पुण्यस्नान, व्रत, नियम आदि करने में असमर्थ हो, वाह यदि इन ३ तिथियों में भी उसे करे तो वैशाख मास का पूरा फल पा लेता है |

    वैशाख मास में लौकिक कामनाओं का नियमन करने पर मनुष्य निश्चय ही भगवान विष्णु का सायुज्य प्राप्त कर लेता है | जो वैशाख मास में अंतिम ३ दिन ‘गीता’ का पाठ करता है, उसे प्रतिदिन अश्वमेध यज्ञ का फल मिलता है | जो इन तीनों दिन ‘श्रीविष्णुसहस्रनाम’ का पाठ करता है, उसके पुण्यफल का वर्णन करने में तो इस भूलोक व स्वर्गलोक में कौन समर्थ हैं | अर्थात् वाह महापुण्यवान हो जाता है | जो वैशाख के अंतिम ३ दिनों में ‘भागवत’ शास्त्र का श्रवण करता है, वाह जल में कमल के पत्तों की भांति कभी पापों में लिप्त नहीं होता | इन अंतिम ३ दिनों में शास्त्र-पठन व पुन्य्कर्मों से कितने ही मनुष्यों ने देवत्व प्राप्त कर लिया और कितने ही सिद्ध हो गये | अत: वैशाख के अंतिम दिनों में स्नान, दान, पूजन अवश्य करना चाहिए |

25th May - Baisaakhi Purnima
Baisaakhi Purnima is also called as "King of all religious vows". This is an extremely holy day for offering donations and engaging in pious activities. One should distribute food, clothing, caps, footwear, umbrella, buttermilk or cordial, literature on discourses among the poor. You may even gift religious literature, vcds-dvds of satsang, memory card, etc.. to your friends or loved ones.

On this day, one must bathe with water augmented with sesame seeds and then offer oblation of ghee, sugar and sesame to Lord Vishnu, or offer the same oblations to a pyre or donate a container of sesame seeds and honey, light a lamp of sesame oil, offer tarpan to your ancestors using water ans sesame or you may also bathe in river Ganga to get rid of past sins. If can observe the supreme vow of taking meal only once in the day, he gets blessed by the best forms of happiness - prosperity and glory.

The last three days of Baisaakh month offer the greatest virtues

As per Skanda Puranas, the last three days on the waxing cycle of moon i.e. from Trayodashi till full moon are considered very holy and auspicious. They are designated as "Pushkarini". They assist in washing away our past sins. One who is incapable of getting up early at Brahmamuhurta for holy bath and practices... then maintaining that discipline even for these three days will benefit him equivalent to the austerities conducted  for the entire month.

In the Baisaakh month, one gains closeness to Lord Vishnu by virtue of abstaining from worldly desires. One who recites Bhagwad Gita in the last three days of the Baisaakh month, he gains fruits of performing the Ashwamegh rites. One who recites VishnuSahashranaam in the last three days of the Baisaakh month, none from this earthly realm or even heavens are capable of extolling the virtues from it. Thus, the person becomes exceptionally holy. One who listens to Bhaagvat scriptures in the last three days of the Baisaakh month, he gains the ability to live in this world like a lotus leaves in water, never getting embroiled in sins around him. On these last three days, so many people have attained to Godliness and attained Sidhhis, accomplishments. So, in these last three days of the Baisaakh month, one must take part in bathing, donation, service and prayers.
