अक्षय फल देनेवाली अक्षय नवमी

कार्तिक शुक्ल नवमी (११ नवम्बर २०१३ ) को ‘अक्षय नवमी’ तथा ‘आँवला नवमी’ कहते है | अक्षय नवमी को जप, दान, तर्पण, स्नानादि का अक्षय फल होता है | इस दिन आँवले के वृक्ष के पूजन का विशेष माहात्म्य है | पूजन में कपूर या घी के दीपक से आँवले के वृक्ष की आरती करनी चाहिए तथा निम्न मंत्र बोलते हुये इस वृक्ष की प्रदक्षिणा करने का भी विधान है :

यानि कानि च पापानि जन्मान्तरकृतानि च |

तानि सर्वाणि नश्यन्तु प्रदक्षिणपदे पदे ||

इसके बाद आँवले के वृक्ष के नीचे पवित्र ब्राम्हणों व सच्चे साधक-भक्तों को भोजन कराके फिर स्वयं भी करना चाहिए | घर में आंवलें का वृक्ष न हो तो गमले में आँवले का पौधा लगा के अथवा किसी पवित्र, धार्मिक स्थान, आश्रम आदि में भी वृक्ष के नीचे पूजन कर सकते है | कई संत श्री आशारामजी आश्रमों में आँवले के वृक्ष लगे हुये हैं | इस पुण्यस्थलों में जाकर भी आप भजन-पूजन का मंगलकारी लाभ ले सकते हैं |

  

Limitless fruits from Akshay Navami

Karthik Shukla Navami (11 Nov 2013) is also renowned as "Akshay Navami" or "Amla Navami". Performing recitations, donations, tarpan, bathing, etc.. offers limitless benefits. There is a special significance of worshiping Amla tree on this day. During puja, one should use a lamp lit using camphor or clarified butter, ghee in front of an Amla tree. Following mantra should be recited and then circumambulate around the tree:

YANI KANI CHA PAPAANI JANMANTARAKRITAANI CHA |

TAANI SARVAANI NASHYANTU PRADAKSHINPADE PADE ||

After this, there is the custom of offering food to pure brahmins and devotees of pure heart, and then one should oneself take meal under the Amla tree. If one doesnot have Amla tree in his backyard then the same practice can be repeated around a small amla plant in a pot or in any holy, religious place or ashram. Many Sant Shri Asaramji ashrams have Amla trees planted in their premises. You may also take benefit of these holy places.
