गौ-पूजन से सौभाग्यवृद्धि

(गोपाष्टमी पर्व – १० नवम्बर २०१३ )

कार्तिक शुक्ल अष्टमी को ‘गोपाष्टमी’ कहते हैं | यह गौ-पूजन का विशेष पर्व हैं | इस दिन प्रात:काल गायों को स्नान कराके गंध-पुष्पादि से उनका पूजन किया जाता है | इस दिन गायों को गोग्रास देकर उनकी परिक्रमा करें और थोड़ी दूर तक उनके साथ जायें तो सब प्रकार की अभीष्ट सिद्धि होती है | सायंकाल जब गायें चरकर वापस आयें, उस समय भी उनका आतिथ्य, अभिवादन और पंचोपचार-पूजन करके उन्हें हरी घास, भोजन आदि खिलाएं और उनकी चरणरज ललाट पर लगायें | इससे सौभाग्य की वृद्धी होती है |

Prosperity through worship of cows

Gopashtami - 10 November 2013

Karthik Shukla Ashtami is also renowned as "Gopashtami". This is a special occasion for cow worship. On this day, one should bathe cows early in the morning and then worship them with fragrance sticks and flowers. On this day, one should feed them grass and then circumambulate them. One should also follow their paths for a while for gaining higher spiritual achievements in life. During dusk, when the cows return after grazing, worshiping even then and welcoming them back in the shed by feeding them green grass or other fodder is also preferred.

Apply soil from cow's hoof on your forehead. This will bring prosperity in your life.
