नवरात्रि की पंचमी तिथि –

चैत्र - शुक्ल पक्ष की पंचमी की बड़ी महिमा है | इसको श्री पंचमी भी कहते है | संपत्ति वर्धक है   |
 इन दिनों में लक्ष्मी पूजा की भी महिमा है |  ह्रदय में भक्तिरूपी श्री आये इसलिए ये उपसाना करे  | इस पंचमी के दिन हमारी श्री बढे, हमारी गुरु के प्रति भक्तिरूपी श्री बढे | उसके लिए भी व्रत, उपसाना आदि करना चाहिए | पंचमं स्कंध मातेति | स्कंध माता कार्तिक स्वामी की माँ पार्वतीजी ....  उस दिन मंत्र बोलो – ॐ श्री लक्ष्मीये नम: |

Fifth day of Navratri

Great glories have been sung fro the fifth waxing lunar day of Chaitra month. It is also referred as Shri Panchami. It is an auspicious day to enhance wealth.
Performing prayers towards Goddess Lakshmi on this day has been highly extolled. But you should pray so that you can gain the wealth of devotion, 'Shri' in your heart. May Shri enhance, may our devotion to Gurudev enhance, such should be our resolve. One must take vows and practice austerities with this intention.
