मासा अनुसार देवपूजन –

•       माघ मास में सूर्य पूजन का विशेष विधान है | भविष्य पुराण आदि में वर्णन आता है | आरोग्यप्राप्ति हेतु बोले, माघ मास आया तो सूर्य उपासना करों |
•       फाल्गुन मास आया तो होली का पूजन किया जाता है.. बच्चों की सुरक्षा हेतु |

•       चैत्र मास आता है चैत्र मास में ब्रम्हा, दिक्पाल आदि का पूजन कियाजाता है ताकि वर्षभर हमारे घर में सुख-शांति रहें |

•       वैशाख मास भगवान माधव का पूजन किया जाता है ताकि, मरने के बाद वैकुंठलोक की प्राप्ति हो | ॐ नमो भगवते वासुदेवाय... |
•       जेष्ठ मास में यमराज की पूजा की जाती है ताकि, वटसावित्री का व्रत सुहागन देवियाँ करती है | यमराज की पूजा की जाती है ताकि, सौभाग्य की प्राप्ति हो, दुर्भाग्य दूर हो |

•       श्रावण मास में दीर्घायु की प्राप्ति हो, श्रावण मास में शिवजी की पूजाकी जाती है | अकाल मृत्यु हरणं सर्व व्याधि विनाशनम् |

•       भाद्रपद मास में गणपति की पूजा करते है की, निर्विध्नता की प्राप्ति हेतु | 

•       आश्विन मास के कृष्ण पक्ष में फिर पितृ पूजन करते है की, वंश वृद्धि हेतु | और अश्विन मास के शुक्ल पक्ष में माँ दुर्गा की पूजा होती है की, शत्रुओं पर विजय प्राप्ति हेतु नवरात्रियों में |

•       कार्तिक मास में लक्ष्मी पूजा की जाती है, सम्पति बढ़ाने हेतु |
•       मार्गशीर्ष मास में विश्वदेवताओं का पूजन किया जाता है कि जो गुजर गये उनके आत्मा शांति हेतु ताकि उनको शांति मिले | जीवनकाल में तो बिचारेशांति न लें पाये और चीजों में उनकी शांति दिखती रही पर मिली नहीं | तो मार्गशीर्ष मास में विश्व देवताओं के पूजन करते है भटकते जीवों के सद्गति हेतु |
•       आषाढ़ मास में गुरुदेव का पूजन करते है अपने कल्याण हेतु और गुरुदेव कापूजन करते है तो फिर बाकी सब देवी-देवताओं की पूजा से जो फल मिलता है वोफल सद्गुरु की पूजा से भी प्राप्त ही सकता है, शिष्य की भावना पक्की हो की – सर्वदेवो मयो गुरु | सभी देवों का वास मेरे गुरुदेव में हैं | तोअन्य देवताओं की पूजा से अलग-अलग मास में अलग-अलग देव की पूजा से अलग-अलग फल मिलता है पर उसमें द्वैत बना रहता है और फल जो मिलता है वो छुपने वाला होता है | पर गुरुदेव की पूजा-उपासना से ये फल भी मिल जाते है और
धीरे-धीरे द्वैत मिटता जाता है | अद्वैत में स्थिति होती जाती है |

Worship of God as per month

- There is special significance of worship of Sun in the month of Magh. It has been extolled in Bhavishya Puranas well. It aids in improving longevity.

- For safety of children, Holi must be worshipped during Phalgun month.

- For everlasting peace-prosperity at home, one should worship Brahma or Dikalp in Chaitra month.

- Lord Madhava is worshiped in month of Baisaakh so that one gets abode in Vaikuntha Loka after death. AUM NAMO BHAGAVATE VAASUDEVAYA ... |

- Lord Yama is worshiped in Jyestha month in line with Vat Savitri vow observed by married women. This is for long life of husbands and avert any ill fate.

- Lord Shiva is worshiped in Shravana month for long life and avert accidental deaths. AKAALA MRUTYU HARANAM SARVA VYAADHI VINAASHAM |

- Lord Ganesha is worshiped in Bhadrapada month for removal of obstacles in life.

- All ancestors are worshiped in Ashwin month's waning period of moon to ensure longevity of family lineage. Also, during its waxing phase, Mother Durga is worshiped to attain victory over enemies, hence the celebration of Navaratri.

- Goddess Lakshmi is worshiped in Karthika month for wealth in life.
- Universal Souls are worshiped in Margshirsh month for peace of departed souls. As they were plagued by intense animate desires during their life, offering prayers to them offers peace and grants them higher life ahead.
- Gurudeva is worshiped in Ashaad month. All the fruits obtained by worshiping other Gods can be fulfilled just by offering prayers to Gurudeva. The only requirement is that the devotee must have firm resolve that  - SARVA DEVOMAYA GURU | My Gurdev resides in all Gods. Then by this virtue, the benefits obtained by performing the rites of other Gods, although beneficial , but donot help overcome the notion of duality. Whereas praying to Gurudev offers worldly benefits and gradual upliftment from the notion of duality. Eventually, you obtain repose in the Non-duality principle.
